Broadband for Seniors

MHLS is an approved ‘Broadband for Seniors’ internet kiosk site. It is located at Buchan Street Community Centre, 15 – 29 Buchan Street Meadow Heights. Broadband for Seniors aims to provide senior Australians with free access to computers, the internet and individual workshop training through the establishment of internet kiosks in the local community. Senior citizens will be able to learn new skills, stay in contact with family and friends and meet new people by accessing these kiosks. Internet facilities are available to the public at the Visy Cares Learning Centre, 3-13 Hudson Circuit, Meadow Heights.These facilities are provided via the PIAP (Public Internet Access Program).Days: Monday to Friday.Times: 9:00am to 4:00pmVenue: Visy Cares Learning Centre, 3-13 Hudson Circuit, Meadow Heights.Prices: Free for current concession card holders, non-concession card holders $1.25 for a half hour, $2.50 per hour, Photocopying, printing, book binding, laminating, and faxes (local calls only) are available at a small cost, please see public facilities pricelist for full costs.
