There are no placements required for this course, however, students are provided with an opportunity to work in a salon environment providing beauty service treatments for the public. Meadow Heights Education Centre conducts a Salon for the public one day per week where students are able to build confidence under the guidance of a qualified instructor.


Monday, Wednesdays and Fridays 9:00am-%:00pm (excluding school or public holidays)

Entrance Requirements: 

All applicants must be permanent residents of Australia and reside in Victoria.

Course Trainer: 
The trainers for this course are fully qualified and highly trained in their field.

All charges are fully inclusive and include enrolment fees, course and amenities charges and materials if required.

To be eligible for a funded position applicants must not hold a qualification equal to or higher than this level, either completed in or recognised in Australia.

Payments can be made via:

  • Cheque (payable to Meadow Heights Learning Shop Inc.)

    -Students pay via Net Bank or
    -Students visit their bank and arrange to have a fortnightly/weekly/monthly amount to be deposited into the MHLS Account

Enrolment Procedures: 

<p>To enrol in this course you will need to come in to our office at the Visy Cares Learning Centre and fill out one of our blue enrolment forms. Upon enrolment you will be asked for proof of ID (a current drivers license /key pass /proof of age card and a current green Medicare card /Australian Birth Certificate/A current Australian or New Zealand Passport/Proof of Permanent residency etc.). The majority of the materials used in the Diploma in Beauty Services course are provided in the material component of the fees. Materials purchased by Meadow Heights Education Centre are at a reduced price due to bulk buying. Students who wish to provide their own identical materials can be provided with a material list on request. Please note, materials used in class are hypo-allergenic as some people may have allergies ,we ask that you purchase the identical or equivalent materials to ensure the safety of all participants.  Students who provide their own materials are asked to bring them for each class.

Products used in Class: 
All makeup and skincare products used in the Beauty courses at Meadow Heights Learning Shop are both top of the line and hypo-allergenic. These products include:

  • Charisma
  • I.B.D
  • Caron
Some practical modules in this course will require students to provide their own models. Teachers will inform students when this is necessary.
Some consumables MUST be provided by the students throughout the duration of the course, these include: hand towels, cotton balls, tissues, etc. Also students are to bring with them pens, notebook, folders for handouts and a USB flash drive.
