The Diploma of Beauty Therapy is for anyone who has successfully completed a Certificate III in Beauty Services and would like to gain extra skills to further their career. Once qualified you will be able to provide a broad range of beauty therapy treatments and services including facial treatments, body massage and treatments, hair removal, lash and brow treatments, nail and make-up services. This includes consultation with clients to provide beauty advice, recommended beauty treatments and services, and sell retail skin-care and cosmetic products.  In this course you will work relatively autonomously and are accountable for personal outputs. Your work involves self-directed applications of knowledge and skills with substantial depth in some areas where judgement is required in planning and selecting appropriate equipment, services and techniques, to own manage or work in a beauty salon or spa.

People this course is designed for:Older or mature aged people with little to no previous computer experience wanting to learn.Anyone with a very limited knowledge of computers.Students whom have completed ICA10111.People from non-English speaking backgrounds (see enterance requirements).Those with basic computer skills that do not know how to Install software, protect their computer agains spam and viruses, use social media, and use digital media.Anyone who has been out of work for a while and wants to brush up on their computer knowledge to enhance their employment chances.Those looking to change careers and need computer skills for their dream job.

This course is for people who would like to improve their English Language who have completed a Course in Certificate II Spoken and Written English or who have been assessed at this level.  If you are new to Australia you may be eligible for funding through the A.M.E.P (510 free hours for eligible migrants). The Adult Migrant English Program (AMEP) is funded by the Australian Commonwealth Government.        If you are not eligible for the AMEP program you still may be eligible for some assistance through Skills First Funding (State Government)        Contact the office and see if you qualify for Skills First Victoria funding for concession Card holders and those who do not hold a higher certificate              For more information please read more.
