The Diploma of Beauty Therapy is for anyone who has successfully completed a Certificate III in Beauty Services and would like to gain extra skills to further their career. Once qualified you will be able to provide a broad range of beauty therapy treatments and services including facial treatments, body massage and treatments, hair removal, lash and brow treatments, nail and make-up services. This includes consultation with clients to provide beauty advice, recommended beauty treatments and services, and sell retail skin-care and cosmetic products.  In this course you will work relatively autonomously and are accountable for personal outputs. Your work involves self-directed applications of knowledge and skills with substantial depth in some areas where judgement is required in planning and selecting appropriate equipment, services and techniques, to own manage or work in a beauty salon or spa.

SHB30115 - Certificate III in Beauty Services is for anyone wanting to start a career in the Beauty industry. If you have ever had an interest in Make-up, Manicures and Pedicures, Lash and Brow Treatments or Waxing then why not learn how to do it professional. This course has had some changes this year to incorporate 2 new units Spray Tanning and Lash Extensions, this is very exiting as these subjects have been in high demand.   Enrollments will commencing in 2018 , you are still able to leave you details for a call back.      In 2018, MHEC is offering two classes (subject to enrollments) 1 class for 2 days finishing in December and a new trial class for 3 days ending in late August. We envisage that students are able to enter the employment market earlier than that of school leavers thus enhancing greater employment opportunities.

The Certificate II in Information, Digital Media & Technology will help those students gain the skills and experience they want and need. People this course is designed for:Older or mature aged people with little to no previous computer experience wanting to learn.Anyone with a very limited knowledge of computers.Students whom have completed ICA10111.People from non-English speaking backgrounds (see enterance requirements).Those with basic computer skills that do not know how to Install software, protect their computer agains spam and viruses, use social media, and use digital media.Anyone who has been out of work for a while and wants to brush up on their computer knowledge to enhance their employment chances.Those looking to change careers and need computer skills for their dream job.
